If you're like me and want to prepare something different for Christmas, then this is the dessert you need for your Christmas table.
Nutella Cheesecake
Nutella cheesecake is one of those desserts that is first and foremost for those who love chocolate, especially nutella, but don't think that it's only for those who love nutella.
That's where you're wrong, and I'll explain why... you might think the flavor is too intense, even too much for your sweet tooth.
However, as Nutella cheesecake is made with cream cheese, it makes the flavor very mild and at the same time has a very creamy texture.
That's why I love this recipe.
Simple and quick to prepare
The simplicity and speed with which a cheesecake is made nutellaThese are the main reasons why I recommend making this dessert for Christmas. But even outside the Christmas season it works well and everyone loves this recipe.
Cream Cheese
If you think cream cheese will make your cheesecake too salty, then I'm sure you've never made a cheesecake, because cream cheese is an ingredient widely used in desserts, mainly because of its neutral flavor and as such it works very well in this recipe.
The cheesecake base
As cheesecake is a dessert with a lot of cream, it is necessary to make the base stiffer so that it has enough consistency to prevent the dessert from falling apart.
Since the cream is chocolate and in order to maintain the same consistency, I like to use chocolate cookies. Here in Portugal I use the "maria" brand, but in Brazil it's a question of checking for a good brand of chocolate cookies.
The Cream of Nutella Cheesecake
To make the cream, you need good quality ingredients, which is essential for the success of this Christmas recipe. So we'll need cream cheese, I use Philadelfia brand.
You'll also need icing sugar, of course Nutella and a little cocoa powder.
Nutella Ganache
Finally, we have to make the ganache, which is nothing more than cheesecake topped with nutella and for this we only need 2 ingredients:
- Milk cream
- Nutella
Variations to this recipe
For those of you who prefer to make variations on this recipe, there's one that I love, but it's only ideal for coffee lovers, so you can probably guess what I'm talking about: coffee and nutella cheesecake.
Another variation, but a little different, is to make desserts with nutella, so right away I can see a nutella mousse or a nutella semifreddo, which is also very good.
Alternatives to Nutella Cheesecake
Although this recipe is delicious and not to be missed, it's possible that for health reasons you can't consume some of these ingredients or because you simply don't like nutella.
Below is an alternative list of very good desserts:
- Strawberry cheesecake
- Lemon cheesecake
- Passion fruit cheesecake
- Oreo Cheesecake
Here's a step-by-step guide to this delicious recipe. If you like this recipe and make it, don't forget to rate it, as it will be a great help to visitors to the site.
