Simple and easy strawberry cheesecake recipe
You can't go wrong with this one, everyone who comes home loves it and eats it until it's gone, eheheh.
For those who don't know, cheesecake is a dessert that originated in the United States. At the time it was born as a cheesecake and over the years it has been altered in various recipes since then, until it became standardized as a sweet, creamy cheesecake with various fillings and toppings.
In today's recipe I'm going to make a super delicious strawberry cheesecake that's simple and easy to prepare.
Let's go?
Preparing the Strawberry Cheesecake
Although strawberry cheesecake is not difficult to make, it goes through 3 different preparation stages:
- Jelly
- wafer base
- Cream
It's also very important to note that the cream cheese you use will affect the final result. I usually use the philadelfia brand, which works very well for this dessert.
Strawberry jam preparation
In first place, Place the strawberries and half a cup of sugar in a saucepan over a low heat and stir until the strawberries are completely mashed. Then the jam is ready.
SecondThen turn off the heat. Place the jam you made in the previous step in a deep container and cover with plastic wrap so that the jam doesn't crust over.
Set aside and let cool to room temperature, then place in the fridge while you prepare the rest of the strawberry cheesecake.
Cookie Base Preparation
First step, break the maria biscuits into pieces and then place in a blender or food processor to crush. Then place the crushed cookies in a deep container and set aside.
Second, microwave the margarine to melt for 30 seconds.
ThirdAdd the melted margarine to the bowl with the previously crushed cookies and knead until the dough is homogeneous and good for shaping the bottom of the pan.
NoteIf the cookies are still dry, add more melted margarine until they are just right.
FourthNow spread the cookies on the bottom of the pan and use a spoon to smooth the base. Once the base is ready, set aside.
Preparing the Strawberry Cheesecake cream
First stepIn a bowl, hydrate the unflavored gelatin with 5 tablespoons of cold water and set aside.
SecondIn a blender, add the cream cheese, followed by the can of condensed milk, the cream and beat to mix everything together. Meanwhile, while you're whisking, heat the gelatine for 10 seconds in the microwave, 3 times, to make it liquid.
ThirdWhen the gelatine is liquid and well dissolved with no lumps, pour it hot into the whipping cream and mix well until the mixture is homogeneous.
FourthThen pour this cream on top of the cookie base and refrigerate for 5 hours.
FifthAfter 5 hours in the fridge, unmold and spread the reserved jam on top of the white cream base and decorate with the strawberries.
Serve and enjoy!
