Today I was thinking about what to make for dessert here at home, but I didn't want anything too sophisticated and complex, because I might not have the ingredients available and I also didn't want to make a recipe that took a long time to prepare.

what I really wanted was a very simple and easy recipe to prepare without any secrets, something straight to the point.

So I chose the milk cake, a simple and very practical recipe that anyone can make without needing the help of a chef 🙂

Cow milk - O milk you usually have it at home, but if you are out of stock, just go to the neighborhood market or any supermarket and you will quickly find the milk you want. I prefer to use semi-skimmed milk, but it's up to each individual.

Wheat flour without yeast - A flour of unleavened wheat is another ingredient that we usually always have at home at our disposal, however if it is out of stock just go to the nearest grocery store and we will certainly find wheat flour.

Sugar, margarine and eggs – Here the same principles apply, that is, as a rule we should have them at home, however if we don't, it's just a matter of going to the grocery store closer to home that we will surely find these 3 ingredients.

  • 1 liter of milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 and ½ cups of unleavened wheat flour
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 3 tablespoons (soup) full of butter or margarine
  • All ingredients at room temperature


  • Preheat the oven to 180C. And grease a 22cm x 8cm round shape with margarine and wheat flour. Reserve.
  • Beat the eggs, milk, sugar and margarine in a blender and beat for 2 minutes.
  • Finally, add the flour and mix well.
  • Place the beaten dough in the greased shape with margarine and wheat flour.
  • Bake in the oven heated to 180C for 1h20min.
