Simple Chicken Drumsticks for Beginners
Today is one of those days when I'm inspired to make the best snack in the world! Do you know what I mean?
I'm referring to the delicious chicken drumsticks fresh out of the fryer... hmmmm just thinking about it is making my mouth water.
Coxinha is not a very easy recipe to make, because it takes a long time and is divided into three parts, but I think that is why many people ask me to create a simple chicken coxinha recipe for beginners.
So today I decided to get to work and prepare this recipe that is going to be wonderful!
Normally I only make one video recipe, but in order to have everything explained clearly I created 3 video recipes!

The chicken coxinha dough is an important step in the preparation of our recipe, as it is the dough in this recipe that creates the crispy crust on our coxinha.
That's why it's essential to mix all the ingredients and ensure they are fully incorporated.

SIMPLE CHICKEN DRUMSTICK FOR BEGINNERS
INGREDIENTS
- 500 g of chicken stuffing
- 800 g of dough for coxinha
- 1 Cup of tea) of water
- 1 tbsp of corn starch (maizena)
- Breadcrumbs to taste
- Frying oil
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
- With the dough still warm, we are going to shape the drumsticks, removing a ball of dough and leaving the remaining dough still wrapped in plastic film so it doesn't dry out.
- Open the ball of dough with the palm of your hand and put the stuffing inside and close and shape between your hands in the shape of a chicken thigh.
- Assemble all the chicken drumsticks and finally the breading by passing each drumstick in water with cornstarch and then in breadcrumbs.
- After all the drumsticks are ready, book.
- Heat a pan with oil and fry the drumsticks turning on each side to fry well.
- Once fried, place the chicken drumsticks on a paper towel to drain all the oil and serve next.
