Ingredients

  • 2 cups of tea) of lentils;
  • 1 chopped red onion;
  • 1 chopped tomato;
  • 4 tbsp of tahine;
  • 1 Cup of tea) of chopped parsley;
  • 2 tbsp of lemon juice;
  • Salt and pepper to taste;
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil;
  • 2 tbsp of vinegar.

Instructions

  • The first step is to cook the lentils in water for 20 to 30 minutes;
  • Season with salt to taste and half of the chopped red onion;
  • Let it cook for a few more minutes until it's seasoned;
  • Once this is done, place the lentils in a large bowl and gradually add the other ingredients;
  • During the process, stir well with a fork to mix everything together;
  • Now you can serve the salad. If you prefer, leave it in the fridge for half an hour;
  • The seasonings can also vary. For example, if you're a fan of tahini, you could add a few more spoonfuls
  • of this dressing on the salad.
