- 250 g sifted wheat flour without yeast
- 350 g of cooked beets (2 large beets)
- 3 whole eggs
- 200 g of sugar
- 110 ml of Oil
- 1 lemon juice
- 1 tbsp of baking powder
- All ingredients at room temperature
Preheat the oven to 180C. Grease a 22cm x 8cm round pan with oil. Set aside.
Put the cooked beet, eggs, oil and lemon juice in a blender and blend for 1 minute.
Then add the sugar and beat a little more.
Finally, pour the liquid into a large bowl and add the flour, stirring with a whisk, then add the baking powder, stirring well.
Pour the batter into the mold and bake in the preheated oven at 180C for 30 to 35 minutes. Use the toothpick test to see if it's baked through. Leave to cool completely and unmold. Enjoy!
