Ingredients

  • 600 g Peeled yam;
  • 300 g Meat of your choice cut into cubes;
  • 1 Minced garlic clove;
  • 1/2 Chopped onion;
  • 1/2 Chopped green peppers;
  • 1 Chopped tomatoes;
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika;
  • Juice of half a lemon;
  • Salt and seasonings to taste.

Instructions

  • First saute the onion, tomato, bell bell pepper, and garlic in a pan;
  • Then add the diced yam;
  • As soon as it softens, add the water, paprika, salt, and seasonings;
  • Let the mixture cook and in another pan put the meat with salt and seasonings;
  • When the meat is deep fried, place it in the pot along with the yams;
  • Mix everything together and add the juice of half a lemon;
  • If necessary add a little more water;
  • When the soup starts to boil, turn off the heat and serve it hot.
