Ingredients

  • 400 g of prawns (medium) without shell
  • 6 lettuce leaves cut into strips
  • 1 carrot (medium) grated in the coarse grater
  • 3 chopped pineapple slices
  • 1 tbsp cognac (optional)
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • ½ orange juice
  • 4 tbsp of ketchup
  • 4 tbsp of mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp heavy cream
  • coriander leaves
  • Salt, pepper and olive oil to taste

Instructions

  • Wash lettuce leaves and cut into thin strips and place in a salad bowl or bowl. Reserve.
  • In a heated frying pan, put the oil, then the crushed garlic to sauté without letting it burn, then put the shrimp to sauté for a maximum of 3 minutes, drain if you release water. Reserve.
  • To make the sauce, place the ketchup, mayonnaise, sour cream, cognac (optional) and pepper in another bowl and mix well.
  • Assembling the salad season the grated carrot with a pinch of salt and a little olive oil and place the carrot in the bottom of the salad bowl, then place the lettuce cut into strips on top of the grated carrot and season with a drizzle of olive oil and a pinch of salt . Also add the chopped pineapple.
  • Now put the shrimps that are already cold and fried reserved inside the sauce and mix well.
  • Now put some of the orange juice in the shrimp sauce without leaving it too liquid and mix well.
  • Finally, place all the creamy shrimp sauce on top of the lettuce and add the coriander leaves to taste.
