Ingredients

  • 1 Packet of dried peas (500 grams);
  • 1 Diced small Calabrian sausage;
  • 1 Medium onion, cut into small pieces;
  • 2 Squeezed garlic cloves; 
  • Salt to taste;

Instructions

  • In the pressure cooker, add the onion, garlic, and a little water;
  • Let it braise well, for a few minutes. 3 minutes, stirring during the process;
  • Add the diced sausage and cook for a few minutes (or until golden brown);
  • If necessary, add a little water to keep the sausage from sticking to the pan;
  • Once this is done, add the peas (properly washed);
  • Add a little more water and let it cook for a few minutes. 3 minutes
  • Now add more water, until all the peas are covered and cover;
  • Let it cook for about 25 minutes and then serve.
