- 1 kg desalted cod 3 big posts
- 1 Cebola média picadinha
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 Cenoura média ralada
- 4 tbsp of olive oil

Preparation
Cook the cod fillets in water, after cooking remove the skin, bones and shred. Reserve.
In a pan, put the oil, sauté the onion, garlic, bay leaf and finally the shredded cod and carrot.
Fold in a little more to sauté. Now put the potato straw package and wrap.
Next step prepare the Bechamel Sauce
Bechamel sauce
50g of butter
40g of wheat flour
400ml of milk
Salt and pepper to taste
Preparing the Bechamel Sauce
Melt the butter over low heat, add the wheat flour and then the hot milk, stirring constantly until it boils without letting it gain color.
Let it boil for 10 min. over very low heat to cook the flour.
Remove from heat, and season with salt and pepper.
Reserve.
Assembly of Cod with Cream
After the béchamel sauce is ready, place the cream on the braised cod and then the béchamel sauce, stir everything very well to involve.
Sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
Bake in a preheated oven at 170º C until browning, it looks golden.
