Ingredients

  • 1 cup of tea or 180g of parboiled or steamed rice
  • 1 tomato band medium chopped
  • 1 onion band medium chopped
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 2 cups of hot water tea
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Wash the rice and let it drain, set aside.
  • Heat a pan, put the oil, garlic and onion to sauté without burning, over medium heat.
  • Add the rice to fry a little, put the chopped tomato and the tomato pulp, the salt and let it sauté a little longer.
  • Then put the 2 cups of (tea) hot water, stir and cover for the rice to cook.
  • The rice will be ready when the water is drying, at that time test the salt if it is good. If you need more water, add very little.
  • Now, just turn off the heat, put the rice in another container and serve.
