But the big problem is that it takes a long time for the water to heat up and cook the egg, depending on your stove or hob.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But one thing is certain <strong>it will take a really long time<\/strong>So if you have a busy life like me, you often end up not cooking the eggs in the pan and later get upset because you wanted a hard-boiled egg to accompany a meal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized is-style-default\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"525\" src=\"http:\/\/cozinhadave.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-11.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11610\" style=\"width:850px;height:620px\" srcset=\"http:\/\/cozinhadave.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-11.jpeg 700w, http:\/\/cozinhadave.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-11-300x225.jpeg 300w, http:\/\/cozinhadave.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-11-500x375.jpeg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I've had this feeling so many times that I've been looking everywhere for ways to cook an egg in a practical and healthy way, but in much less time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After a lot of research and testing, I discovered a really cool way to cook eggs in the microwave in less than 3 minutes, it really is true <strong>3 minutes!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the recipe below, I'll show you how to cook eggs in the microwave in a very simple and healthy way:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"nv-cv-m wp-block-list\">\n<li>Eggs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 glass container filled with water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Microwave (of course!)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Method of preparation:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 1:<\/strong> Before putting the egg in the microwave, you should first make two very small holes in the egg so that it doesn't break while it's in the microwave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 2:<\/strong> Then place the egg in the container of water so that the egg is submerged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Extra Tip:<\/strong> If the egg doesn't stay submerged, but floats (on the surface of the water), it means that the egg is spoiled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 3: <\/strong>Then place the container in the microwave at maximum power, in the case of my microwave, the maximum power is <strong>800w<\/strong> , and set the timer to 3 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Extra Tip:<\/strong> If the microwave has a different power, set the timer proportionally, for example if the maximum power is 400w, then you should set the timer for 6 minutes, since it has half the power, and so on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 4:<\/strong> When the microwave has finished, open the door and remove the container with gloves or a cloth, be careful as it is very hot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 5:<\/strong> Place the container on a table or worktop and remove the egg with a large spoon so you don't burn yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 6: <\/strong>Then rinse the egg so that it cools down and remove the shell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you've removed the shell, your hard-boiled egg is ready to eat!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>TIP NUMBER 2<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The second tip has been very successful, perhaps more so than the first tip. Here in Portugal, people love to eat ovos estrelados (fried eggs in a frying pan, filled with oil).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eggs are widely used in some meals, such as bitoque, which is a steak of beef or pork (usually beef) accompanied by French fries and salad, but something that is essential is to have a fried egg on top of the steak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized is-style-default\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"525\" src=\"http:\/\/cozinhadave.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-9.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11608\" fried egg like we see in the image of the bitoque, but <strong>without being fried<\/strong>In other words, we just use the microwave without adding anything to the egg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That's why this way of cooking eggs is very healthy, because we don't fry them or use frying oil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To cook the egg in this way, we will need:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"nv-cv-d nv-cv-m wp-block-list\">\n<li>Eggs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 ceramic or glass dishes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>pinch of salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Method of preparation:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 1:<\/strong> Carefully crack the egg and place it on the plate, just as you would in the frying pan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 2:<\/strong> Adding salt to the egg to taste is optional, as those who don't like salt in their eggs should do as they like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 3:<\/strong> Take the second plate, turn it upside down and place it on top of the other plate, so that the egg is sealed between the two plates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 4:<\/strong> Place the egg dishes in the microwave, set the power to maximum (in my case 800w) and set the timer to <strong>45 seconds<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 5:<\/strong> When the microwave is finished, carefully remove the plate as it will be very hot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 6:<\/strong> Take the plate
